The Rotellini Wedding // The Pine Tree Barn

November 11, 2021

The Rotellinis

Joey and Ashleys wedding started off full of anticipation and excitement. Ashley used a hair and makeup company that travels in an RV which was super cool and unique! You get the salon experience right at the venue! I had this vision of Ashley's dress hanging out the upstairs window of the venue but I couldn't get the right angle so the DJ gave me a boost onto his trailer for the perfect shot and it was worth it! Thankfully I am not afraid of heights!

The ceremony was nestled in amongst the pine trees and was such a perfect spot! The officiant Corey was good entertainment while we waited for the last bus of guests to arrive (aside from throwing me under the bus about having guests put away their phones). lol I love his relationship with Ashley. After the ceremony he gave her a little peck on the top of her head and you could feel the brother/sisterly friendship they have!

Another perk was not being the shortest person at a wedding! Yay for my 5'2 self not being the shortest! But all jokes aside it was a stunning wedding and these two were literally surrounded by so much love (13 bridesmaids and 13 groomsmen)! Ashley's sister gave a pretty amazing speech with her best Fresh Prince of Bell Air spin off song! It was epic and hilarious and so much fun! What a fun crowd! At some point the drunken wedding planner had disappeared but obviously no one was mad about that. Thankfully she didn't ruin anything but she was definitely three sheets to the wind.

The reception was so much fun! Joey loves video games and they brought a few of his arcade styled video games they have from their house (must be the place to hangout right?) Then the Macedonian Bread dance was a blast! It was funny watching Ashley and Joey compare who had the bigger piece! From what I was told after they dance in a circle to the song they pull apart the bread ring and whoever has the biggest piece will wear the pants in the marriage. It was pretty even so its still out there who won that! :)

One of my favorite parts of the night was sneaking out after dark before I left to get some epic night shots with smoke bombs! I love getting creative at weddings so this was honestly so much fun for me! ?
