How far in advance should we book our wedding photography? Most couples book 9 to 18 months in advance, especially for prime peak-season dates (spring, late summer, and fall). Since I only take on a limited number of weddings per year to ensure a high-touch experience for every couple, I recommend reaching out as soon as you have your venue and date secured!

How many hours of wedding coverage do we actually need? Standard wedding coverage usually ranges from 7 to 9 hours. Eight hours generally covers the tail end of getting ready through all the major reception events (cake cutting, first dances). Ten hours allows for full, stress-free morning prep photos, a First Look, portraits, and plenty of late-night dance floor partying.

Should we do a First Look? While this is 100% your choice, doing a First Look allows you to share an intimate moment together before the ceremony, wrap up most (or all) of your couple and bridal party portraits early, and actually join your guests for cocktail hour! If you prefer a traditional aisle moment, we simply structure your timeline to take portraits immediately following the ceremony.

What happens if our wedding day falls behind schedule? Don't worry, wedding timelines flex! Because we build cushion time into your timeline during the planning phase, we can easily adapt to unexpected delays without sacrificing key photos. My job is to keep things relaxed and moving smoothly so you never feel rushed.

What is your editing style, and do we get full print rights? My editing style focuses on true-to-life color, rich warmth, and timeless skin tones so your photos never look dated. Every wedding package includes a private online gallery of retouched, high-resolution digital files with full personal printing rights to download, print, and share as you wish.

How many photos will we receive, and when will our gallery be ready? You can generally expect around 50 to 75 retouched images per hour of coverage (e.g., 400–1000+ photos for an 8-hour wedding). You will receive a "sneak peek" gallery within 48 to 72 hours of your wedding day, and your full completed gallery will be delivered within 6 to 8 weeks.

How do we reserve our wedding date with you? Once you select your package, securing your date requires a signed contract and a retainer fee. Once those two quick steps are done, your date is officially locked on my calendar!
