• Step 4: Image Delivery: You will receive a curated digital gallery with options to purchase full resolution edits, ready for downloading, order prints, and photos to submitting to your school’s yearbook.

What to Wear: Wardrobe Recommendations Aim for 1-3 distinct outfits to give your gallery dynamic variety:

• Outfit 1 (Casual & Classic): A favorite pair of well-fitted jeans paired with a sweater, jacket, or stylish top—something that looks like you on a great day.
• Outfit 2 (Dressed-Up / Main Character): A formal dress, tailored suit, or bold statement outfit that adds movement and elevated style.

When should I book my senior portrait session? It’s best to book your session 2 to 3 months in advance. High school yearbook deadlines often fall early in the fall or winter, so booking during the spring of your junior year or early summer ensures plenty of time for shooting, editing, and submission.

How many outfits can I bring? Most sessions allow for 1 to 3 outfit changes. This gives your gallery a great mix of styles—typically one casual look, one dressed-up or editorial outfit, and one showcasing your hobbies, sports, or interests.

What happens if it rains on the day of my shoot? Michigan weather can be unpredictable! If there is heavy rain or severe weather, we will simply reschedule your session to the earliest available date at no extra charge. Light overcast skies, however, actually create incredible, soft lighting for portraits!

What should I do if I feel awkward in front of the camera? Don't worry—90% of the seniors I shoot start off saying the exact same thing! My shooting style is energetic, guided, and fun. You won't have to guess what to do with your hands or how to pose; I’ll give you easy, natural movements so you look relaxed and confident.

Can I bring props or my pet to the session? Absolutely! Bringing items that highlight your high school experience—like sports gear, musical instruments, varsity jackets, or even your dog—adds a personal touch to your photos. Just let me know in advance so we can plan the right location!

When and how will I receive my photos? Your fully edited, high-resolution digital gallery will be delivered within 2 to 3 weeks of your shoot date. From there, you can easily download your images, order professional prints, and share them with friends and family.

Do you submit my senior photo to the yearbook for me? Yes! Once you select your favorite image for the yearbook, I will crop and format it according to your high school's specific guidelines and submit it directly to your school's yearbook advisor or upload link, or I can send it directly to you! Whatever is easiest!
